In 1963, Jean Vuarnet, (gold medal winner at the Olympic
Games) Gerard Brémond (now chairman of P&V Group) and Jacques Labro
(a celebrated architect) created the concept and began development of
Avoriaz, situated at 1800m in the centre of what is today one of the largest
ski able domains in the World, the "Portes De Soleil".
This vision to create a harmonious, car free resort resonates with today's
ecological sensibilities and this emblematic resort actively supports
sustainable, environmental values.
Avoriaz earned the UNESCO label "Heritage of the 20th century"
in 2003. Now after careful and extensive planning there is a fresh opportunity
to invest in a new development phase.
Opportunity - New development phase
This new development will be ski-in-ski out, with guaranteed rental returns and low deposit to reserve. There are low up front costs and the next payments will not be until December 09 allowing time for rates to come down.
The MGM Amara district will be created at the entrance to this car-free resort. The views from the balconies in these south west facing apartments is spectacular, taking in the Morzine Valley into which the sun sets. These high quality residences have a traditional warm alpine interior with modern features. All apartments are good sizes and most have both a shower and bathroom, and come fully furnished. Avoriaz lies only 1hr from Geneva.
